Susie Montoya

Beloved mother, grandma, GG, godmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend was called to her heavenly home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at the age of 102 in Arvada, Colorado.

She is survived by her children, Edward Montoya, Robert (Shirley+) Montoya,  Lloyd (Ginger) Montoya, Loretta (Eugene) Abeyta, Patricia (Manuel+) Lujan and Kathryn Martinez; her siblings: Bertha (David+) Portales, Lucille (James+) Lovato, JoAnn (Greg) Lee; her brother-in-Law Agapito (Helen+) Abeyta and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She is proceeded in death by her parents Feliberto and Aurelia (Paiz) Gonzales, brothers: Joe, Fred, Lee, infant Joseph; sisters: Eloise Montoya, Maria Elena (Helen) Abeyta, Alice Ojeda, Viola Martinez, infants Mary Anne and Agnes; grandchildren: Kenneth Montoya, Laura Herrera Smith, Dianne Lujan, Christopher Abeyta; and great-grandchildren: Georgette Ford-Montoya and Alyssa Abeyta.

A Rosary will be held on Friday, January 22, 2021 at 9:30 am at Holy Family Catholic Church, 4377 Utica St. Denver, CO 80212 followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 am. Interment will take place at 11:30 am at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 12801 W 44th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033 (Please enter through the first gate). The service will be recorded and the link will be available at a later date.
