Teresa Ann Comer

Teresa Comer, 52, a loving mother, daughter, sister and friend passed away September 16, 2011, in Aurora Colorado. She is survived by her parents, Bruce and Lynn Perry; Robert and Tyllie Comer; her son Michael Comer; brother Robert Comer, Jr. and his children Robert and Anthony; sister Leslie Leslie and her children Jake, Jamie and Zachary; sister Laurie Stimley and her daughter Ashley. Teresa was a kind, compassionate, loving individual. She always gave selflessly to help others and frequently put the needs and wants of others before her own. Teresa loved to cook and show her love through her food. She would glow with pride and happiness to see others enjoying her creations. She will always be known for her incredible green chili that can never be replicated. Teresa was an amazing mother, having raised her son as a single mom from the age of three; she worked multiple jobs to ensure that her family was taken care of. She loved and cared for her son Michael more than anything in the world and beamed with pride to watch him grow up. Despite Teresa's load as a single mom, she always found time to be involved in Michael's sports and activities. From volunteering for football in High School, to making sure he crossed the finish line at his bike races, she was always there to be his number one fan. As an avid dog lover, Teresa also had two other children, only they had four legs. Duke and Winston were her boys. She loved to watch them run at the dog park and take them for drives in the winter. It was often joked about with those that knew her, that the dogs made the decisions in Teresa's house, not her. Those who were fortunate enough to know Teresa knew she was generous and loving. She loved to laugh and see others happy. She was truly an exceptional woman who will be missed dearly. The incredible memories that we have of her over the last 52 years will be cherished and remain in our hearts each and every day. A Memorial Service for Teresa will be held at 4:00pm, Friday, September 23, 2011 at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 11150 East Dartmouth Avenue (at Parker Rd), Aurora, Colorado, 80014.
