Teresa Pott

March 25, 1954 — June 5, 2012

Teresa, 58, of Aurora passed away June 5, 2012. She is survived by her children, Adam (Toni) Shiner and Sherice (Charlie Sulzycki) Shiner; grandson, Rudy Gaona, Jr.; brother, Allen Robinson; brothers & sisters in law, Kathy Siegrist, Becky Pott, Rick Pott, Terri Bengs, Daniel Pott and Shane Pott; and numerous other nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband; Brad Pott; and her parents, Mae and Barry Reed. It was in her nature to be a giver; no matter the occasion she was always more than happy to help a friend or family member in need. Along with Brad, she was a very passionate animal lover and always willing to donate to animal shelters in the Denver metro area. Teresa came from a very artistic family of crocheting, knitting, and patchwork with numerous family members who are proud owners of her blankets and quilts. Teresa also loved to bowl and was part of a bowling league for many years, some of which she even attended bowling tournaments. She also enjoyed spending her time in Blackhawk usually with friends and family. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ""I'm Free"" Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free I'm following the path God has laid you see. I took His hand when I heard him call I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day To laugh, to love, to work, to play. Tasks left undone must stay that way I found that peace at the close of day. If my parting has left a void Then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss Oh yes, these things I too will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life's been full, I savored much Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch. Perhaps my time seemed all too brief Don't lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your hearts and peace to thee God wanted me now; He set me free. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Committal Service will be Saturday, June 30, 2012 at 11 AM, Mount Olivet Cemetery, 12801 West 44th Avenue, Wheat Ridge. A Celebration of Life will follow at Westminster Bowling Alley, 9150 Harlan Street, Westminster.
