Teressa “Teri” Elaine Eyl, 61, of Aurora, Colorado. Teri passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 3rd, 2022, from a pulmonary embolism.
Teri Lozano was born on Wednesday September 7, 1960, to Sam and Barbara Lozano in Denver, CO. She grew up in Littleton, CO and graduated from Arapahoe High School in 1978. Teri met her soul mate, Craig Eyl, in 1978 while working at a sod farm. Teri and Craig got married on August 13th 1983 in Littleton, CO. Teri traveled with Craig, as a wife of a Navy sailor, and discovered her love for Hawaii and passion for crafting and motherhood. Teri eventually found her way back to her home state after Craig got out of the Navy. She spent her adult life trying to find a career that was as fulfilling as being a wife and a mom, although, was unsuccessful. The only thing that was more fulfilling to her, was being a grandma.
Teri is survived by her husband and best friend of 44 years, Craig, her daughter, Amanda (Joe) Pacheco, and son, Zach (Nichole) Eyl. Her grandbabies, Branden, Keanu, Blaze, Violette, and Madison. Her mom and dad, Barbara and Sam Lozano. Her brother, Tony (Rhonda) Lozano, and brothers and sisters in law; Brenda (Randy) Reed, Brad (Tisha) Eyl, Chris (Monte) Tjelmeland, Curtis (Lisa) Eyl, Kim (Joe) Eyl, and Tami Eyl. As well as her countless nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Teri was proceeded in death by her mother and father in law, Valda Rae and Clyde Eyl, brother in law, Brian Eyl, her neices Kaley and Kelsey, and her pups, Gray Cloud and Dusty.
Memorial Services for Teri are on Thursday May 19th 2022, at 2:00pm. Horan and McConaty, 11150 E Dartmouth Ave, Aurora, CO 80014, reception to follow.
