Teri Lin Russell

Teri Lin Russell, 50, Arvada, Colorado passed away on Thursday, September 19th , 2013, peacefully in her home, in the company of her family. She is the daughter of Robert Eugene and Mary Carolyn McTaggart of Arvada, Colorado both of whom preceded her in death. She was married to Scott on July 9th, 1988 and had just celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary. They celebrated this milestone in Maui for two weeks and had a wonderful time celebrating and spending their time together. She is survived in life by her husband Scott, daughter Tory Lin, son Ryan Scott; her brother Kevin and sister Lori. She was a happily married devoted wife and mother, whose first love, was being a stay at home mom raising both of their children. She did this until they reached an age of semi-independence. At this point she started working part-time for Jefferson County Public Schools as a teacher's aide. She later became the clinic aide, both of which were at the same elementary school as her children attended. She did this for 12 years, up to the point in which her illness prohibited her from doing what she loved. During this time she found her second love, working with children. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 28, 2013, 11 AM at Horan and McConaty Family Chapel, 7577 West 80th Avenue, Arvada, Colorado 80003.
