Terri Lynn Fields was born on July 6, 1960 and passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2020. Terri
was the daughter of Wilbert Kogl and Bernita Kogl who preceded her in death.
Terri was born on the high plains of Kansas in the town of Atwood, Kansas. She grew up on the
Kansas farm and developed a work ethic that lasted throughout her life. Having lived on a farm, Terri could
milk a cow, ride a horse, and drive a tractor. Terri went to school in Atwood, Kansas and continued her
education in Colorado, when her family moved to Elizabeth, Colorado.
Terri met and married Dennis Fields in Castle Rock, Colorado wherein Terri gave birth to her son, Brok Fields
and daughter Brittany Fields. The family moved to Parker, Colorado where they have lived for the past
30 years.
Terri worked for Safeway Corporation for 31 years while raising and caring for her young family.
She regarded caring for her family as her main and most important occupation.
There were so many dimensions of Terri. Terri was happy, beautiful, eager, sacrificing, hard working,
loving, caring, mothering, courageous, inspiring, adaptable, kind, inventive, and artistic.
Terri lived a beautiful and good life. Terri was pro life, pro children, pro family, valued her freedom,
loved her country, and made god the center of her life.
Terri was devoted to Jesus her entire life. She prayed daily and read the bible almost daily as
well. She was christained at birth, became an evangelical christian, and was a member of the Grace Lutheran
Church of Parker, Colorado.
Survivors include her devoted husband, Dennis of the home, son Brok and wife Chelsea, Parker, Colorado;
daughter Brittany and husband Jordan, Thornton, Colorado; grandson Carter, grandson Landon; sisters Debbie,
Rosa, and Melissa; brothers Dan and Wayne; brothers in law Bill and Bob, brother and sister in law Bill and Teresa
McCaughey; mother in law Vera Fields; aunts, uncles, cousins neices, and nephews.
