Terri Hill

Therese ""Terri"" Jean Hill, 68, died on October 31, 2018.

Terri was born Therese Jean Maddock on July 12, 1950 in Denver Colorado. A Marycrest Girls High School graduate, she lived in Denver and worked as a nurse for 46 years at Mercy Hospital and Humana before retiring from the NICU at St. Joseph's in 2016 after 26 years of service. Terri was honored by her patients and their families by receiving the Daisy Award for Extraordinary Nursing on five separate occasions- https://www.daisyfoundation.org/daisy-award/honorees/terri-hill-0 Terri was active in the Mercy Hospital Alumni Association, a member of St. Luke's Church in Denver, and in her retirement volunteered with Warm Hearts, Warm Babies.

Survivors include her beloved husband, Martin John Hill, Jr. of Aurora, Colorado; children Martin (Emilie) Hill III of Yorktown, VA, Rebecca (David) Huber of Centerville, OH, Katherine (Bruce) Jubert of Dallas, TX and Molly (Andres Trujillo) Hill of Long Beach, CA; grandchildren William Huber, Chloe Hill, Samuel Huber, Martin John Hill IV, and Henry Wisniewski; siblings Thomas (Jane) Maddock and Jane (Otto) Schnauber; brothers and sisters in law Gaye Maddock, Robert Douglas (Yvonne) Hill and Caroline (Steven) Poetzl; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Terri was preceded in death by her parents William and Betty Maddock, Marty's parents Martin and Gene Shirley Hill, brother Edward Maddock, brother-in-law Richard Hill, and niece Jill Maddock.

A vigil service will be held at Ave Maria Catholic Church in Parker at 10:30am on November 7th, followed by a funeral mass at 11am. Ave Maria is located at 9056 East Parker Rd, Parker, CO 80138. Please note that the church is located on East Parker Road, rather than Parker Road. Relatives and friends are welcome to celebrate Terri's life and memory immediately following the funeral mass.
