Terry C. Houston

Terry C. Houston passed away on December 31, 2019 at the age of seventy-one. He was born to George S. and Elizabeth G. on May 11, 1948 in Wichita, Kansas.

Terry received his graduate degree from Metro State University and throughout most of his life was a CPA; he eventually retired from Mutual of America after many years of dedicated, hard work.

Terry met his lovely wife Shanna and they had three wonderful children-Paul Houston, Emily DeBaggis (Bob), and Laura Tritz (Brian)-who went on to give he and Shanna eight grandchildren-Tanner Houston, Zak DeBaggis, Hannah DeBaggis, Jackson DeBaggis, Mason DeBaggis, Tyler Tritz, Dylan Tritz, and Logan Tritz.

On a nice day, you could be certain to find Terry on a golf course whacking a few balls, or exploring the great outdoors on a hiking trail. As a CPA, Terry also had a passion for following the stock market, so any discussion on the latest numbers could stimulate great conversation with him.

Terry is survived by his spouse, Shanna; his three children Paul, Emily, and Laura; his grandchildren; and his sisters Michele Christofferson and Linda Bachman.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, January 6, 20202 at two o'clock in the afternoon at Horan & McConaty 5303 E County Line Road, Centennial 80122 with a reception to follow at Tyler and Heidi Green's home at 9452 Brook Lane in Lone Tree, 80124.
