Terry C. Weverstad

Terry C. Weverstad, 79, of Highlands Ranch, CO, passed away June 5, 2018. He was born June 11, 1938, in Yankton, SD to Waldemar and Helene Brennan Weverstad. Terry is survived by wife, Sheree, daughter Kirsten (Michael) Braun, son Scott, daughter Karren. Granddaughters Sarah (Michael) Thibeau, Shanna (Tyler) Gibson, Gary Zikeli. Great grandchildren Paige Gibson, Wyatt and Alarra Thibeau. Step grandchildren Kaleigh (Austin) Steckler, Ali (Tim) Frohm, Luke (Amber) Braun and Hank (Erin) Braun. Step great grandchildren Reaghan (deceased), Weston, Kaidyn, Kailyn, Zoe, Landon, Palmer, Alex, Jace and Remington. Sister Judy (Wally) Evans, Rapid City, SD, nephews David and Troy Evans, niece Tami (Jeff) Hurley and nephew Jeff (Jill) Bartlett. He is preceded in death by his parents. Terry served in the US Army for 2 years, then army reserves. He was employed by Kelloggs for 33 years in sales and marketing and was past board member of Lutheran Family Services Rocky Mountains. He was an avid fly fisherman and served as past president of his fishing club, High Plains Drifters. He also enjoyed biking and did Ride the Rockies for 9 years and the bicycle ride across Iowa 3 years. He didn’t want to miss any of his son, Scott’s, rock band gigs and enjoyed every minute! He dearly loved his family and spending time with them meant so much to him. He was dearly loved and will be missed! a Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be Saturday, June 9, 2018 3:00pm at Bethany Lutheran Church, 4500 E. Hampden Ave., Cherry Hills Village, CO 80113. Pavilion Service will be Wednesday, June 13, 2018 9:30am at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Staging Area 'B', 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd., Denver, CO 80236.
