Thanh Tran

Thanh Chi Tran, age 71, died at home on March 23, 2021. Thanh was born in Da Nang, Vietnam, on April 5, 1949. As an adult, he immigrated to the United States, making Denver his new home. Thanh was a visual artist, who enjoyed ancient Chinese art. In retirement, he spent time creating paintings, drawings, and sculpture for the Asian community; and, he took pleasure in practicing the art of Feng Shui.

An avid gardener, Thanh also enjoyed collecting and growing Bonsai, orchids and cacti. He spent many warm days and evenings enjoying his koi pond and garden.  And, he delighted in outings with friends, in particular their weekly walks and bike rides in Washington Park.

Thanh is survived by his daughter, Trang Tran; his son, Vu Tran; his grandchildren, Christian and Emma Fielder; and his siblings, Quy Thi Tran and Cuc Thi Tran.
