Theonya Miller was born to Willie and Katie G. Kelley Miller with the aid of a mid-wife, on a plantation, in Webb, Mississippi. She was one of 14 children and was baptized and united with a church in Stovall, Mississippi, at a very early age.
She was united in holy matrimony with Anderson Robinson, Jr, on August 29, 1949 in Bolivar County Mississippi and remained in that union until Anderson's death in 2010. They moved to Colorado in 1954 and made their home in the Denver Metro area.
Mrs. Robinson was employed in private homes and worked for many families over the years. She spent many years employed with the Kirsch family and she had remained especially close to their son, Jeff, throughout her later years.
Her husband preceded her in death, but she leaves to mourn her passing, many nieces and nephews, a host of friends, and her Zion Baptist Church family, of which she was a member for more than 50 years.
The family of this extraordinary woman wishes to thank her Zion Baptist Church family for the many thoughts and prayers during her passing.
