Theresa âTeeâ Ellen Schall, 85, of Aurora, Colorado, passed away December 14, 2017. Theresa was the fifth of six children born to Edward and Nora Joyce Barry on July 24, 1932 in Barryroe Cork, Ireland. She grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where she attended Catholic schools. Following her high school graduation, Tee attended Nursing school in PA, then continued with her education by receiving her Masterâs degree in Nursing. She was working as a Nurse in Pittsburgh when she met Gregg Alexander Schall. They were married August 3, 1963. Gregg was a member of the US Armed forces, so before long, Tee found herself traveling with Gregg as he was stationed in different areas in the United States. As they made their home in each new location, Tee was always able to find work as a Nurse. In March of 1968 and with incredible anticipation, Tee gave birth to their son, Timothy Schall. Tim brought such joy and happiness to both Tee and Gregg. He was the light of Teeâs life and she loved being his Mother. During the 1970âs their family moved to Colorado for a short time, then after leaving for a few years, they returned to Colorado, establishing their home in Aurora. Tee found work again as a nurse at Denver General Hospital and then at Rose Medical Center, retiring in the late 1990âs. After retiring from Nursing, Tee began volunteering at Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Religious education, then Liturgy and Funerals. She served at Queen of Peace for over 20 years. Teeâs Father was a college professor, so a love of education was instilled in Tee at a young age. Her love of learning took her to Regis University, where she received a second Masterâs degree, this time in Theology. Tee was a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Tee and Gregg loved attending the Theatre; holding season tickets first at the Elitch Theatre, then at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts. She had an incredible zest for life and was not afraid to try new things. She learned to snowboard in her 60âs, and also tried bungee jumping. Tee is survived by her beloved husband, Gregg; daughter-in law, Staci Schall; two granddaughters, Madison and Rylie; sisters, Noreen and Ann; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Timothy in 2013; and her siblings, Margie, Terry and Patrick. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30am, on Thursday, December 28, 2017, at St. Michael the Archangel, 19099 E. Floyd Ave., Aurora, CO 80013. A reception will be held immediately following the Mass. Burial will be at Fairmount Cemetery.
