Therese Williams

Therese was born on April 11.1964 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Beverly and Don Nelson. She later moved to Colorado with her Mom and sisters. She was known affectionately by friends and family as “Pooh”

She graduated from Alameda High School in 1983.

Therese loved being outside, gardening, going to the mountains, going on long walks and hikes, creating art, reading and spending time with her daughter and grandson. Anyone who knew her knew they were the lights of her life and her favorite thing in the world was being a “grammy”.

She was an aspiring herbalist who wanted to learn how to make her own natural medicines, oils and skin care.

She found her niche in the professional world working for Peterson Company. She loved her job and everyone she worked with, they became a second family to her.

She was kind hearted and loving. Those who knew and loved her felt her love and warmth for them. Her smile could light up a room.

Therese was preceded in death by her son Joshua Williams, dad Don Nelson and brother Terry Nelson.

She is survived by her Mom Beverly, stepmom Meryl, daughter Tia (Mark), grandson Hunter, sister Judy (Donnie), sister Debbie (Mark), niece Paige (Michael), nephew Austin, brother Tom (Angie), sister Candi (Frank), sister Kelly (Robert), cousin Michele (Dave), cousin Gina, uncle Mark (Jan), numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and extended family members

A Celebration of Therese's Life will be held Saturday, July 23,2022, 2pm, Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood.
