Therese M. Saracino of Denver died Thursday, July 2 at 82 years of age. She was born Therese Marie Muto on February 13, 1927 in Salida, Colorado and lived in Denver most of her life. After graduating from St. Mary's Academy, she attended Webster College in St. Louis, and graduated from the University of Denver where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority. On July 31, 1948 Therese married Samuel Saracino, Jr. who was born in Concrete, Colorado and raised in Ft. Collins, Colorado and preceded her in death in 1992. Therese taught mathematics at St. Mary's Academy for many years and volunteered with several nonprofit organizations following her retirement. She is survived by her five children: Sam Saracino, Seattle, WA, Therese A. Saracino, Jim Saracino, Marie Booren and Elizabeth Saracino, all of Denver. She is also survived by her sister, Adele Phelan of Denver, A brother, Sam Muto, died in 1981. Memorial Mass Tuesday, 11AM, Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, 2200 South Harrison Street.
