Thomas Eugene Craig, 70, of Aurora, CO passed away Saturday, September 4th. Tom was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Though he had many aspects to his life none were more important to him than his family. His favorite moments were spent surrounded by his family, visiting Blackhawk with his wife, captaining the pontoon boat at the lake, and drinking coffee with his many friends. He was an avid fan of the NASCAR and the Colorado Rockies. Tom honorably served our country spending 10 years in the Army. Prior to his retirement, Tom made his career as a truck driver with the last 26 1/2 years spent working for Albertson's. He took great pride in showing up every day and doing things the right way. He received numerous awards and citations for his work. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Ginger; son Mark Thomas Craig (Alisha) and their 3 children Austin, McKenzie, and Alexis; daughter Johanna Abbott (Doug) and her 3 children Justin, Jordan, Jerrad; great-grandson Rhett; son Dustin Barton and his 2 children Michal and Matthew; daughter Jill Turner (Keith) and their 3 children Madison, Carter, and Macy; son Duane Barton (Ginger) and daughter Joylea Fleetwood (Mike). He is also survived by his sister Betty Grissom. Preceded him in death were his parents Robert R. Craig and Safronia Miller Craig, and brother Robert R. Craig Jr. Tom never met a stranger, and had the unique ability to talk to anyone regardless of age. His treatment and generosity toward others was one of a kind, an example we all should strive to reach. He will be deeply missed. At a later date the family will hold a private memorial service.
