Thomas Edward Mohr

Thomas (Tom) Edward Mohr, 70, of Arvada Colorado passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 12, 2025. Tom was born on October 14, 1954 to Beatrice and Carl Mohr in Britt, Iowa. Tom and his family moved to Cincinnati in the Summer of 1958, and he spent the remainder of his childhood in Ohio. When Tom was a teenager his family moved to Kettering, Ohio. During his youth, he was active with his youth group and made many life-long friends. He graduated from Fairmont West High School (Kettering Ohio) in 1973 and attended the University of Cincinnati. He graduated with his BA from Regis University.

Ohio is where he grew his passion for sports teams, and he was a dedicated fan to the Ohio State Buckeyes, Cincinnati Reds, and Cincinnati Bengals. He was supportive and a loyal fan of his two daughters while they played athletics. His enthusiasm continued with his grandchildren while they began to play sports, he was never a stranger to the bleachers and would always be there for his family.

Tom worked in the high tech industry for Hewlett-Packard, Intel, and most recently at BI Incorporated before his retirement.

Gathering with friends and family at craft breweries was one of Tom’s favorite joys. Always up for an adventure, he enjoyed traveling and going on family vacations. One of his favorite stops was to visit Rocky Mountain National Park.

Tom is survived by his brother John Mohr and his wife, Joy (Scottsdale, AZ); daughters Amy Bahl and her husband, Michael (Arvada, CO); and Courtney Taylor and her husband, Dan (Leavenworth, WA); nieces Michelle Buck (Phoenix, AZ) and Monica Mohr (Phoenix, AZ); grandchildren Alice Bahl (Arvada, CO), Abby Bahl (Arvada, CO), Annie Bahl (Arvada, CO), and Olyn Taylor (Leavenworth, WA). 

Tom’s Celebration of Life Open House Ceremony will take place on March 29th, from 5:00-8:00pm at New Terrain Brewery in Golden Colorado.
