Thomas Edwards

Thomas Jake Edwards was born June 14, 1926 in Lime City, Texas to Lena Vista and William Cecil Edwards, the first of four children. Jake passed away on May 29, 2022 at his home in Littleton, Colorado.

Jake loved to reminisce about his Christian baptism in the Leon river, his happy childhood growing up on the farm and his time in the U. S. Navy.

Jake was a loving son, brother, husband, father, stepfather, grandfather, and great grandfather. Jake is preceded in death by his mother; father; sister, Mildred Ruth James; brother, Charles Ray Edwards; son, Randy Thomas Edwards; daughter, Vicki Dawn Barone-Sumpmann; and stepson, Tracy Lynn Moore.

Those left to mourn his passing are his sister, HenryEtte Bone; wife, Ann Edwards; daughter, Pamela Dee Kranzusch; son-in-law, Robert Anthony Kranzusch; six grandchildren, and three great grandchildren; and many relatives and friends.

In keeping with his nature, there will be a private service and burial on June 14, 2022.
