Thomas J Guajardo

Thomas Jeremiah Guajardo, of Aurora, Colorado was called to Heaven by our eternal loving Father on Friday, May 8th 2009. Thomas was 32 years old. He was born on February 13th 1977 in Denver, Colorado to his loving parents Jeanette (Rivera) Guajardo and Manuel Guajardo. Thomas grew up in Aurora, Colorado where he attended Dartmouth Elementary School, Columbia Middle School and Rangeview High School. Throughout his student career, Thomas was an active musician who enjoyed playing the drums and saxophone. Thomas was the Drum Captain in his high school marching band and was an inspiration to many of his fellow band members. Thomas was always adored by his family and friends and is a cherished member of his community. Thomas always worked very hard to ensure his family had everything they needed. He had always held an important position as a family leader and provider, but the most important position he held was as a treasured member of his loving family. Since Thomas was a young adult he has always worked very hard in his professional career in Hospitality as a Restaurant General Manager. He was always a valued team member and an essential leader to every company he worked for. Thomas was a handsome young man who had a genuine love for life and he made the lives of his family and friends better by simply being there for everyone he loved. Thomas had an infectious laugh and brought joy and happiness into every room he walked into. Thomas enjoyed the simple things in life, such as watching a movie in his favorite chair with his beloved kitty Gracie in his lap. He also loved Ford Mustangs and owned many different Mustangs throughout his life. Thomas is survived by his loving mother Jeanette Rivera, his devoted father Manuel Guajardo, his loyal brothers James Guajardo and Danny Guajardo, his faithful little brother Grant and his adoring little sister Sadie. Thomas is also survived by many members of his extended family as well as many friends. Thomas's final wishes were for his body to be cremated. His cremation was performed on Thursday May 14th 2009 at the Horan & McConaty funeral home in Aurora, Colorado. There will be a private memorial service held at a later date. Donations may be made in Thomas's name to the Max Fund Animal Shelter.
