Thomas Henry Morphis, 90, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2024, in Aurora, Colorado. He was born on July 15, 1933, in Liberal, Kansas, to George and Caroline Morphis. Tom's passing leaves a void in the hearts of his family and friends who will always cherish his kindness and love.

Tom's military service was a significant aspect of his life. At just 17 years old, he enlisted in the Air Force and served in Korea and Japan. His bravery and selflessness during this period were commendable.

Throughout his life, Tom had a fulfilling career that allowed him to explore the world. He began working for Frontier Airlines as a counter agent and worked his way up to becoming a Regional Sales Manager. Tom's passion for travel was fulfilled through his work in the travel industry as he ventured to various corners of the globe.

In later years, Tom embarked on a new chapter of his professional life by joining the City of Aurora. His commitment to public service shone brightly as he contributed to the community until his retirement. Although Thomas accomplished numerous professional milestones, he always held family above all else. His wife Nancy, who he loved deeply, preceded him in death in 1995. Morphis in 2018 and siblings, Lela Tafoya, Shorty Morphis, Martha Sprang, Rita, Jenny Johnson, Junior Morphis, Mary Butler, Dolores Noell, John Morphis, June Newport, and Linda & (Jimmie) Morphis.

Thomas is survived by his four sons, along with their spouses, Thomas C., William L. & Yvonne, Michael S. & Pamela, and Robert J. & Karen. Throughout their lives, they were grateful recipients of his guidance and support. In addition to his children, Tom leaves behind a legacy of love through his adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Bill’s children and grandchildren are Jacquelyn and Nick with Trevor, Aubrey, Jacob, and Kadyn Lawrence; Bob and Karen’s children and grandchildren are Justin, Amanda and Stephanie & Marcos Del Rio with Adrian and Lincoln; Mike and Pam’s daughter is Dominique Morphis.
