Thomas King

Thomas Larkin King, 68, of Arvada, CO, passed peacefully on May 16, 2021 after a courageous but short battle with cancer. He is survived by his beloved wife Helen, mother JoAnn Gramkowski, sister, Cindy Littledale and his three daughters: Christy, Kate, and Madison, as well as one granddaughter, Makenzie Coulter.

He was born on November 21, 1952, in Jacksonville, FL, but grew up in Chicago, IL. After graduating from Southern Illinois University, he volunteered to serve his country joining the Navy and serving in the Vietnam War.

Tom moved to Denver in the early 1970’s and called it his forever home. He ended his career as a Manager in the Automotive Industry. After retiring, he and Helen spent winters in Cabo San Lucas, a place he had grown to love over the years. His love for red wine, cooking for his family, fast cars, and insatiable sweet tooth are among the many things his friends and family will remember fondly.

He will be missed for his sense of humor, concern for others, and joy in simply living life to the fullest.
