Thomas L. O'Neill

Thomas L. O'Neill of Denver was born on August 5, 1921 and died on April 12, 2006. Tom was preceded in death by his wife Alice. He is the beloved father of Michael T. O'Neill and his wife Suzie, and Tom O'Neill Jr. and his wife Stephanie. Mr. O'Neill is survived by his grandchildren Mike Jr. and his wife Marie, Bryan, Melissa and Brett. Also surviving is his special friend Pete Tomitsch. He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends. Tom loved God, his family , the Colorado Rockies and the Denver Police Department. Mr. O'Neill served in the U.S. Navy during WWII; he entered Police service with the Denver Police Department in 1947 and retired in 1972. Recitation of the Rosary on Tuesday April 17, 2006 7P.M. at Horan and McConaty Family Chapel 3060 S. Wadsworth Blvd, led by the Reverend Monsignor Raymond Jones. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday April 18, 2006 11A.M. at Church of The Risen Christ, 3060 S. Monaco Parkway, Concelebrated by The Reverend Monsignor Raymond Jones and The Reverend Sean Mc Grath. There will be a reception at the church hall after the Mass. Burial will be at 2P.M. at Fort Logan National Cemetery , Staging Area "B" with Full Military honors by the United States Navy and the All Veterans Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to go to the Relief Fund, Denver Police Protective Association, 2105 Decatur Street, Denver, Co. 80211.
