The world lost a sweet and gentle soul on July 2, 2016 with the sudden passing of Thomas John ""Tom"" Osborn of Centennial, Colorado. Always the scholar, Tom attended the University of Utah from 2009 through 2011 and was a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity. He decided to take a brief hiatus to consider other options and worked at Regal Theaters of Southglenn from 2013 to 2015 as he pursued experience and exposure to his interests in acting and theater. He enjoyed playing tennis, golf and bowling. He also loved music, and spent many hours writing poetry. He is survived by his parents, Kent and Linda, his sister Katie Stamm and her husband Rob, and aunts and uncles: Bill and Mary Osborn of Belmont, LA; Jerry and Martha Osborn of Danville, CA; Jean Osborn of Denver, CO; Peggy O'Toole of Northfield, NH; Lawrence and Mika O'Toole of Miami, FL; Timothy and Debbie O'Toole of Greeley, CO; Patrick O'Toole of Sterling, CO; and cousins Kale and Grayson O'Toole, Tyler O'Toole, and Shannon and Hannah O'Toole. In lieu of flowers, please send a kind gesture to someone around you whether that be a friend, relative or stranger. Be kind to all. 146 Hopeful Words There is not peace today but as long as there is hope, tomorrow there shall be. We cannot let another war happen, we are already fighting enough. It is time to stop fighting and let the building begin. It is harder to build than it is to break, but just imagine the goodness we can make. We are running out of things to break anyhow, we've already broken people's spirits, we have torched the wildlife, put down the knife, and pick up a sign of life. World peace should not just be the hope of a beauty queen, but it should be the hope for all the beautiful things on this earth. World peace might be impossible, it for sure is if you don't believe in it. Call me a dreamer, but I will not let hate kill my dreams. I dream of a brighter tomorrow⦠Written July 8, 2012 by Thomas John Osborn tomozpeace.blogspot.com Please share memories of Tom and condolences with the family by signing the guestbook below.
