Thomas Ross

September 5, 1957 — July 12, 2022

Thomas Joseph (TJ) Ross - beloved husband, step-father, brother, and friend entered Life Eternal on July 12, 2022.

TJ was born September 5, 1957, in Laramie, Wyoming and attended St. Laurence Catholic School, Laramie Senior High School, and graduated from the University of Wyoming with a Master’s Degree in English. TJ spent several years teaching in Laramie and Cheyenne, Wyoming, before moving to Denver where he lived the remainder of his life.

TJ met and married the love of his life, Sharon, in 2011. Although their time together was brief, it was full of love and joy, which impacted everyone around them.

TJ will be remembered by those who loved him for his ready smile, wonderful but quirky sense of humor, his ability to memorize and recite a number of jokes, limericks, and endless lyrics to songs, his love of cats, and his care and devotion for those he loved.  Knowing TJ was truly special, and he will be deeply missed.

TJ was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Nyla Ross, and his sister, Shauna Van Wagner.

He is survived by his wife Sharon; his sister Jamie Halterman, (Gary and Tara) of Whidbey Island, Washington; his nephew Bill Van Wagner, (Jessie and Olivia Mae) of Mt. Vernon, Washington; his step-son Scott Spalding, (Mariko) of Bothell, Washington; and his step-daughter Sherea Spalding, (Gary and grandson Aidan) of Denver.

A Requiem Mass/Memorial Reception will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, July 18, 2022.
