Thomas J. Smidt, Jr.

Tom was born in Montrose, CO on March 6, 1936, the son of Thomas J. Smidt, Sr. and Tresa (Little) Smidt. He attended Montrose County schools, and CU, Boulder, majoring in communications. Tom moved to Denver in December, 1956 to take a job at KOA Radio/TV. He later worked at KWGN-Channel 2, Sam Lusky Associates, The First National Bank of Denver, and in 1987 bought a print shop. Tom is survived by his wife Marilyn, son Bredt, daughter Tresa, and six grandchildren, as well as many special friends. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, 1:30 PM at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 1091 S.
