Thomas Soper III

Thomas Soper III died peacefully at home on December 20, 2010 in Denver, CO after a valiant struggle with cancer. Born May 21, 1949 in Bellefonte, PA. Tom was a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Widener University in 1971. He had an illustrious career with Playtex, Johnson & Johnson, General Electric, Alexander & Alexander, Tambrands and Schwinn.

Tom was a remarkable person beloved by many, who had an enormous impact in the corporate arena and was a source of inspiration to all who knew him. He was a true friend, loving father and husband. Tom was an avid tennis player, voracious reader, and a passionate cook, often preparing sumptuous feasts for family and friends.

Tom is survived by his wife, Joann; son, Thomas and his wife, Kimberley, grandchildren, Anderson and Rowan; son, Timothy; siblings, Mark, Maureen and Torrie; and, numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be held on Friday, January 7 at 10:30 am at Horan & McConaty, 1091 S. Colorado Blvd., Denver, CO.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Denver Urban Youth Tennis Academy.
