Thomas Turpin

Thomas Embury Turpin, 69, of Aurora, died at his home on September 24, 2011. Thomas was born on August 18, 1942 in Indiana. He graduated from Indiana University where he met and married his loving wife of 45 years, Karon. They lived in Indiana and Kentucky for several years before moving to Colorado. He is survived by his wife and their daughters Tanya Turpin Hunt of Irvington, NY and Christine Turpin Herron of Centennial, CO. His grandchildren include Thomas James and Jessica Riley Herron, and Benjamin Gallatin and Joshua Turpin Hunt. He was active in his local community and served as a Deacon at St. Paul's Presbyterian Church. A memorial service will be held at 9:30am on October 8th at St. Paul Presbyterian Church 18901 E Hampden Ave, Aurora CO 80013. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Deacon's Fund there.
