Thomas H. Wagner was born in West Burlington, Iowa on November 2, 1926 to Clement B. and Hulda C. (Schamper) Wagner. He passed away at his home in Westminster, Colorado on March 27, 2018 at age 91. Tom had a rewarding career with Westinghouse as a nuclear engineer earning recognition and multiple awards for his innovative designs used in several nuclear power plants. His interests included studying Christian history, reading and building architectural Legos kits. Tom was also an accomplished handyman in his younger years and loved to think through how something was built or created. Tom is survived by his wife, who was the love and light of his life, Marjorie (Smith) Wagner, his daughters: Patricia (Michael) Hordell, Dianne (Peter) Mahoney and Barbara (Doug) Cox; his sister: Jean Leas and his brother: John Wagner. He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren: Jason, Brandon, Tyler, Madison, Morgan, Shannon and Elizabeth and 4 great grandchildren: Emilee, Aidan, Wesley, and Giana. He will be loved forever and sadly missed by his family. Tom’s parents, Mary Falat (sister) and Jim Wagner (brother) went to the Lord before him and were waiting when he joined them on March 27th. The Funeral Service and Interment will take place at a later date at Evergreen Cemetery in Loup City, Nebraska. Memorial donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association - (www.diabetes.org ) or Compassionate Hospice Care, 11935 Quay Street, Broomfield, CO, 80020. Funeral Arrangements are with Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 7577 West 80th Avenue, Arvada, CO 80003.
