Tim Godbey

Tim passed away suddenly on January 27, 2006 at his Denver home. He is survived by his parents HG and Christina (Vicki) Godbey of Denver; sister Christina and brother-in-law Dr. Mikio Nihira, nephews Kai and Kan and niece Catherine all of Dallas, TX; relatives Robert and Noel Dickson of Denver; Karah Dickson of Denver; and Stacy Bryant of Heidelberg, Germany; Marilee Smith of Rancho Palos Verdes, CA in addition to numerous friends. He graduated from Smoky Hill High School and University of Colorado with a Bachelor of Arts degree in history. He worked as a television broadcast engineer with Omnibus Systems. Tim had the gift of making everyone he met feel that, at that moment in time, they were the best person on earth - - but the nicest thing of all was - - for that moment in time for Tim, they truly, truly were. He lived his life both loving and loved - - and there is no better way to live; we celebrate that while we grieve at his passing. Visitation Tuesday 5-8 p.m., Horan & McConaty Funeral Home, 1091 S.
