Aurora, Colorado

Timothy Vogt, age 43 of Aurora, Colorado passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday October 23, 2021 after a long battle with chronic pain. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on January 20, 1978 to Treasa Chapin and Larry Vogt.

Tim joined the U.S. Navy in 1996, immediately following high school. He proudly served 8 years on the USS Normandy CG-60. He was honorably discharged after sustaining serious injuries to his back, neck, and feet. Tim enjoyed staying in contact with his friends he made during his time in the Navy. He was able to attend a reunion recently, where he saw many of those fellow shipmates.

Tim always had great joy for his children and cherished the time he had with them.

He is survived by his wife Stacey and five children: Isabella, Lucy, Connor, Kyndall and Kynnidi; his mother Treasa; father Larry; brother Dan and his family; sister Kayla; sister Dawn; nephew Nick and his wife Amanda; and niece Kimmy. Tim is preceded in death by his daughter Abigail and brother Ben.

Services with military honors will be held on Monday November 15, 2021 at 1:00pm at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd., Denver, CO.

UPDATE at Fort Logan: Please gather at Staging area 'D' by 12:45pm (We are no longer gathering at 'A'). Enter the North Gate/Funeral entrance at the Cemetery, turn right on Wyoming Street, then left on Montana Street. Continue to the end of Montana street which is where Staging area 'D' is located.

Family and friends are invited to a reception from 3:00-6:00pm at the ViewHouse, 7101 S Clinton St, Centennial, CO 80112.
