Timothy P. DeLaria

Tim, 71, of Arvada, Colorado passed away on February 22, 2018. Tim was born September 19, 1946, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. His father was in the military and Tim had the opportunity to travel to Japan and Germany with his family. Later, Tim himself served in the United States Army, as a Sergeant in the Military Police (MPs). After his military service, Tim married his wife, Pam, on May 21, 1971 and they were married until his death, February 22, 2018. Tim went to work for the University of Colorado Police Department in Boulder. He worked for CUPD until his retirement in 2004. He enjoyed woodworking, bicycling, and he loved to make people laugh. Tim is survived by his wife, Pam; son, Matthew (Alana); daughter, Christina; and siblings, Roberta (Lou), Renee (George) and Tom. Vigil Service will be Thursday, March 1, 2018, 7 PM, at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 7577 W. 80th Ave., Arvada, Colorado 80003. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 2, 2018, beginning at 2 PM, Spirit of Christ Catholic Church, 7400 W. 80th Ave., Arvada, Colorado. A Private Committal will be held at Ft. Logan where Tim will be laid to rest.
