Timothy Daniel Scott was born on October 19, 1972 to Ronald O. Scott, Jr and Valerie K. Scott in Pocatello, ID. He returned to his Heavenly Father on March 18, 2016 of natural causes. Tim was greatly loved and respected. He was an excellent businessman, a true friend, a wonderful son and the great love of his family. He graduated with honors from Highland High School in 1990. He was a senior class officer and played on the varsity football team. He furthered his education at Idaho State University where Tim earned his B.B.A. and MBA degrees. He received his law degree from the University of Idaho College of Law and L.L.M. in Taxation from the University of Washington. He was the Managing Director of the Sussex Law Group in Denver where he was named a Five Star Tax Manager and a Colorado Super Lawyer. Tim was a trusted advisor to his clients with a unique business expertise that provided sophisticated tax, business, and estate planning. He was a member of the Washington, Idaho and Colorado Bar Associations. Tim's greatest love and joy was his family. He adored his loving wife and friend of 19 years, Jamie Webb. His two sons, Carter and Brixton were his pride and joy. Tim was their life and they were his. When you saw Tim out and about you would find him with one or both of his sons. His was the ideal family that many aspire to have - filled with warmth, laughter, kindness and love. Tim is survived by his wife Jamie Webb, and sons, Carter and Brixton. He is further survived by his parents Ronald Scott, Valerie Scott, siblings Katherine Rees and Michael Scott, and many other relatives and friends. Viewing will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 28, 2016 at the Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood, CO. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, March 28, 2016, St. Jude Catholic Church, 9405 W Florida Avenue, Lakewood, CO at 2:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to Colorado Academy, C/O Development Office, 3800 S Pierce Street, Denver, CO 80235 to establish educational scholarships for Carter and Brixton.
