Timothy Kent Tribbett

January 21, 1970 — February 13, 2018

Timothy Kent Tribbett, 48. Tim, devoted husband to Jennifer and father to Jordan and Connor died suddenly at home on February 13. Son of the late Merrill Kent Tribbett and Gloria Lori Eastman and stepfather Ben Eastman, siblings Christopher (Pamela), Matt, (Marji), both of Denver, Chelsea Tribbett of Yuma, Colorado, and Sarah Eastman (Joe Teehan) of Dublin, Ireland. Tim attended Phillips Elementary, Smiley Middle, Manual High School (class of '88), Valparaiso University, and the Graduate School of International Business (Thunderbird). After a career working in international finance for several corporations, Tim owned and operated a commercial sign business in Denver. Tim was proud of his pioneer roots in Yuma, Colorado and enjoyed hiking, camping, and hunting. He loved our state and our city. He was active in the Denver Democratic Party and in various progressive causes. His greatest loves, however, were his family and friends. He leaves scores of friends, particularly from his East-Manual days, who remember his positive energy and his deep and engaging laugh. His large and loving family includes many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews who will miss his big heart and his love of life. Memorial Service: Saturday, February 24 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran and Catholic Community, 1600 Grant Street, Denver. Suggested donations: Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver (3245 Eliot Street Denver, CO 80211) (habitatmetrodenver.org) and Friends of Manual High School (friendsofmanual.org).
