Todd Lillard

Todd Lillard passed away unexpectedly on Thursday July 30, 2020 in Denver, Colorado.

Todd was born in Kansas on April 27, 1978 to Donald and Linda Lillard. After living in North Dakota and Illinois, the family moved to Colorado as Todd was starting high school. Todd met his wife Amy while the two of them were in high school choir together. They got married in 2001 and had a daughter, Alyssa.

Todd was known as a “gentle giant” both because of his stature and his silly and giving nature. He was a beloved family man who loved spending time with his wife and daughter. He loved animals and his cats and dogs were an important part of his family. Todd loved his work installing and repairing copy machines and printers. He was constantly making silly noises, creating voices for book characters, and singing snippets of songs in his deep bass voice. Todd could always be counted on to tell someone about his huge collection of Transformers, the anime he was watching, or the audiobook he was listening to at the time.

Todd is survived by his wife Amy, daughter Alyssa; siblings John (Helen) Lillard and Andrea (Justin) Horan; parents Donald (Shao Qiong) Lillard and Linda Lillard; sister-in-law Dori Ballard and her fiancé Chase Dobson; mother and father-in-law Lorrie and Ray Ballard; grandmother Doris Harris; niece Breanna and nephew Logan; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and countless friends and coworkers.

Todd was preceded in death by his grandfather John Harris; grandmother Blanchetta and grandfather Donald Lillard, Sr.

A celebration of life and memorial service is being planned. It will be live-streamed for those who are unable to attend.
