Todd Robert McClure, age 61, died in Aurora, Colorado on January 29th, 2022. Todd was born on November 22, 1960 in Winfield, Kansas, and he most recently lived in Aurora, Colorado.
Todd’s most proud moment was when he was stationed on the Marine Corps Air Station, New River in North Carolina. He was assigned to Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 461 as a mechanic and crew chief. He served for eight years, earning the rank of Sergeant before being honorably discharged. Todd also found pride in his long-standing career as a VP of Operations at Pro Access Systems (previously Pass West).
Todd was preceded in death by his father Jay McClure.
Todd is survived by his mother, Donna McClure, his three children, Danny McClure (38) (his wife Erin McClure), Christine Zollinger (36) (her husband Aaron Zollinger), and Taya McClure (21), as well as his siblings Valerie (65), Marc (62), and Jay McClure (54). Todd was also survived by his 5 beloved grandchildren: Avery (12), Stella (8), Gage (6), Everett (4), and Lena (2).
Todd’s greatest passion was not only being a father, but he truly enjoyed a Saturday of brewing his own craft beer or visiting local breweries, exploring new vacation destinations, and enjoying quality time with his friends and family. Todd will be remembered and missed for his big bear hugs, his sincere advice, and his often times inappropriate (but loved) humor.
A private honorable service will be held at Fort Logan to commemorate his life. Relatives and friends are invited to join Todd’s family at his celebration of life at Lone Tree Brewing Company on Friday, February 11, 2022 at 2p.m. We strongly suggest you share your best, most memorable stories, and pictures on the tribute wall (link above). In lieu of flowers, we recommend that donations be made to the following organization in honor of Todd: Marine Corps League https://www.mclnational.org/about.html
