Todd Bryant Smith, 76, died at home on November 5, 2021. He was born in Omaha NE on June 3, 1945 and moved with his parents to Denver CO following World War II. Todd attended Philips Elementary School, Smiley Junior High School, East High School and Cherry Creek High School; he graduated from Cherry Creek in 1963.

Todd is preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Robert O Smith Jr. and Janet Lierk Smith McDanal. He is survived by a big, loving family including his wife of 47 years, Tecla Guadagni Smith; son, Kevin Smith; daughter, Megan VanStone (Brian) and two grandchildren, Brody and Mackenzie VanStone, all of Denver CO. Todd is also survived by his three brothers, Greg (Lyn) Smith of Charleston SC; Jeff (Kai) Smith of Seattle WA; and Scott (Pat) Smith of Durango CO. He is survived by his maternal aunt Shirley Mohr of Minneapolis MN, cousins Julie Artus of Las Vegas NV and Becky McShane of Minneapolis MN, and multiple nieces and nephews.

Todd’s passions were politics and golf. Growing up on the fairways of Valley Country Club, Todd began his quest for the perfect golf game at an early age. He honed his skills living the past 20 years above the 6th green of Saddle Rock Golf Course, where he enjoyed watching golfers chip onto the green and hole the ball. He was a member of the Men’s Clubs at Saddle Rock and Murphy Creek golf courses in Aurora. A Memorial Service for his family and friends will be held Monday, November 15, 2021 at 1 p.m. at Horan & McConaty, 1091 S. Colorado Blvd. in Denver
