Joe Kuka, 68, of Lakewood died October 17, 2011 at The Denver Hospice Inpatient Care Center. He was born on January 2, 1943 in Twin Falls Idaho. Joe proudly served in the United States Army from October 1966 to August 1968 as a Military Police Officer in Vietnam. After serving in Vietnam he graduated from The University of Arizona and spent a majority of his career with the Bureau of Land Management. Joe, along with his ""lovely young bride"" spent years ministering to and mentoring couples and families. His life purpose was faith, family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Sandy; children, Korina (Todd) Keller, and Holly (Victor) Lozano; grandchildren, Bethany, Nate, Gabe, Lillie Keller, and Madison and Emma Lozano; siblings, Monte (Ruth) Kuka, Ron (Kay) Kuka, Geraldine (Jack) DeWitt, Mary Lou (Frank) Cheek, and Zoe (Richard) McClellan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
