Chris, beloved husband, son and friend, passed on December 1, 2015 after mounting a courageous fight with cancer. Chris was born on October 9, 1965 and raised in Forest Park, Ohio. He attended Indiana University and was a member of Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity. Professionally, Chris was an Operations and Finance Executive with a successful career in Hospitality and Customer Service. Chris served 12 years as a volunteer firefighter with Mountain View Fire Rescue and retired from service as a Lieutenant. Chris is survived by his loving wife, Stephanie Hellman; father, Jim Lawler and his wife, Ann; and too many loving friends to count. He was a gentleman beyond words, a respected confidant, and a loving and caring influence on countless lives. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 5, 2015, beginning at 2:00 PM, at St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church, 2301 York Street, in Denver, Colorado 80205.
