Tracy Crawford

January 18, 1963 — June 16, 2022

Tracy Dawn Crawford passed away peacefully on June 16, surrounded by her family, leaving an indelible mark on this world.

Tracy was born in Denver, Colorado to James and Aletha Crawford. The second youngest and only girl of five children, Tracy was a supreme athlete and excelled in both tennis and soccer. Embodying a creative and competitive spirit, Tracy became part of the first US National Women’s Soccer Team and competed in many semi-professional Tennis tournaments.

Tracy had an infectious laugh, was quick to smile and the first to hug. She made life-long friends in a moment, and found giving to be her true purpose.

Tracy’s gift was an enduring love of this world and the people in it. She lived on the bright side and was always there to listen and support anyone in any way she could. You could feel the love radiate from her from a mile a way. She was strong so you didn’t have to be and she loved so you never felt alone.

Tracy was a daughter, sister, sister-in-law (who she loved like sisters) friend, aunt, caregiver, pet lover and business owner. She cared for her customers like they were family. She loved to throw a party and it was not unusual to find a gift in the mail from Tracy Never asking for help in return, Tracy was there for all who needed her. She gave her love in small acts of kindness or a text that she was thinking of you.

Tracy was a living example of God’s commandment to love God and neighbor. Those who knew her felt His love through her. To her nieces and nephews, she was the best aunt anyone could have ever hoped for.

She always meant well, she lived well and she moves on to the next chapter leaving this world a better place. Everyone who met her will have a little bit of peace and joy in their heart from her being a part of their life.

Tracy is survived by her four brothers, Jake (Jimmy,) Joe, Terry and Tim, (“my boys and Timmy”) 11 nieces and nephews and 4 great- nieces.

A celebration of her life ("Christmas in July") will be on July 24, 2022 at the family home from 1 to 4 pm.
