Valasa ""Laci"" D. Papke

Valasa Papke (1921-2015) Valasa (Laci) Holmes Papke departed this earth Monday, March 23, 2015. She was 93. Born in Spokane, WA, she grew up in Lemmon, SD. She married George Papke who pre-deceased her in 1994. Laci & George moved to Castle Rock in 1970. A caring mother, loving wife, superb hostess, fantastic cook, and astute listener, Laci enriched each life she touched and will be greatly missed. Survived by children, Garry (Sheryl), Sandra (Bob) Battin, Earl, and Marilyn (Nina Dulacki); grandchildren Brad, Stacy (Dan) Sip; and three great grandchildren. Visitation Monday, March 30, 5-8PM at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 11150 E Dartmouth Ave, Aurora. Services will be held Tuesday, March 31, 10:30AM at First United Methodist Church, 1200 South St, Castle Rock, CO 80104. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to First United Methodist Church, Laci Papke Memorial; or Shalom Park Nursing Home to benefit residents who are unable to pay for their care, 14800 E Belleview Dr, Aurora, CO 80015.
