Velma Brown

Velma Etta Brown nee Mott of Aurora entered the Kingdom of Heaven on March 26, 2017. Born in Edgewater, Colorado on December 31, 1920, she graduated from Edgewater High School class of 1939. She was predeceased by her devoted and loving husband of 65 years Lawrence Everett Brown of Castle Rock, parents Harry Wellington Mott and Margaret Nelson of Edgewater, and sister Rita Kriznar of Denver. She is survived by brother Harry Wellington Mott Jr. of Denver, sons Steven Michael of Littleton and Jeffry Paul of Old Brookville, New York; grandchildren Shaun, Todd, Christian, Brittni, Blake, Skyler and Sloane; great grand-children Michael, Leann and Chase; and beloved daughters-in-law Diane and Kristin. Private interment at Fort Logan National Cemetery with her husband, once a Marine and always a Marine.
