Verla Mae Skufca

Verla Mae Skufca, 80, passed away April 8, 2014, in Denver, Colorado. She was born March 27, 1934 in Stratton, Colorado to Alva Bert and Francis Colvin Wolgamott. She married Robert Eugene Skufca, April 10, 1955. He preceded her in death on February 10, 2003 Verla was a fun-loving lady and full of life. She especially loved her family, Slots, Card Games, Las Vegas, Central City, Bingo, Animal Planet, and the Game Show Network, specifically The Price is Right (Come on Down!). She also loved Panda Bears, Cats, Piglets and Dogs. She enjoyed puzzles, embroidery, making and collecting stained glass window ornaments and cooking for her family. Verla is survived by her three daughters, Roberta Comito (husband, Joe), Tina Armentrout and Patty Loomis (husband, John); five grandchildren, Ashley Armentrout-Bohn (husband, Justin Bohn), Alyssa Armentrout, Stephanie Comito, Skyler Loomis and Tony Comito; and by her brother, Dale Wolgamott. She was preceded in death by her other siblings, Ethel Evans, Hazel Roland, Leonard Wolgamott, John Wolgamott and Vera Sue Grimes A Funeral Mass for Verla will be held on Friday, April 11, 2014, 1:00pm, at Shrine of St. Anne Catholic Church, 7555 Grant Place, Arvada, CO. A viewing will be held at the Church, the hour prior to the Mass. Burial will be on Monday, April 14th, 9:15am, at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 South Sheridan Blvd., Denver, CO. Please gather at staging area ""C"" prior to 9:15am.
