Vernon E. Wahl,

Vernon E. Wahl, Ret. USAF, 82, of Centennial passed away on November 9, 2012. Vernon is preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Laurell, his parents Jacob and Matilda Wahl, and his siblings Forrest J. Wahl, Kenneth L. Wahl, Iva Franklin, Caroline Wahl, and Deloris Walker. He is survived by his son, Randy and his wife Julia of Westminster; son, Kenneth and his wife Marit of Thornton; daughter, Denise Hackett and her husband Ron of Centennial; son Douglas and his wife Joann of Madison, Wisconsin; and seven grandchildren: Eric Hackett, Kyle Hackett, Kirby Wahl, Debra Wahl, Christopher Wahl, Elizabeth Wahl and Robby Wahl. A public visitation will be held on Monday, November 19, 2012 from 8:30am - 9:30am with a Funeral Service to immediately follow at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 South Wadsworth Boulevard in Lakewood.
