Vesta Dott Hutchison

Vesta Dott Hutchison, of Moscow, Idaho, passed away on July 29, 2012, twenty years to the day after the death of her husband, L. Stewart Hutchison. Born April 11, 1920 near Sherman, Texas, she was the fourth of nine children on H.V. and Ida J. Grigg. Dott and Hutch were married in Texas August 10, 1939 and lived primarily in California and Colorado for the next fifty-three years. They had on child, a daughter. Dott worked as a medical secretary, as a condominium manager, designed and manufactured square dance dresses, but her favorite job was as a hostess to the Colorado Symphony Orchestra. She is survived by her sisters Vonell Ferris, Layton Elliott, her daughter, Donna Whitney, grandsons Geoffrey, Matthew, William and Joseph Whitney, one granddaughter, Elizabeth Dahle, and seventeen great grandchildren, and one great-great- grandchild. Services are to be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, August 9th at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, 5140 Carr street, Arvada, Colorado.
