Vicki Ann Callahan

Vicki Ann Chiasson Callahan, 75, of Centennial, Colorado passed away peacefully on November 12, 2024.

She was born to the late Nolan Joseph Chiasson and Anna Lee LeCompte on August 12, 1949, in Westwego, Louisiana.

Vicki is survived by two daughters: Kelly (Cameron) Auger and Dana (Richie Wood) Callahan. She is also survived by five grandchildren: Callahan Auger, Cameryn Auger, Casey Callahan, Chuck Wood and Carson Wood. She was "Granny" to many others.

Vicki treasured her family above all. She loved to spend time with her grandkids by supporting them in their sports, music and theater activities. She was a great cake decorator and her daughters always had homemade birthday cakes. She loved Cajun food especially gumbo and was a steel magnolia to her girls.

She spent much of her life as an LSU and Saints football fan but also became a devoted fan of the Colorado Rockies and Avalanche after moving out west to support her daughters. As a Saints fan, she learned the virtue of patience and was over the moon when the Saints eventually won Super Bowl XLIV.

In the coming month, the family will host a memorial to celebrate Vicki's life.

In lieu of sending flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to Alzheimer's Association: https://alzfdn.org/
