Vicki Lea Zeigler

Vicki was born June 14, 1952, in Lake City, Iowa. She grew up near Scranton, Iowa and is a graduate of UNI. Vicki married Mark in 1976, and moved to Colorado. She volunteered for the Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Sunday school and VBS. Vicki taught for the Cherry Creek School District and High Plains Elementary. After a long, courageous battle with cancer, Vicki passed on October 16, 2010. She was preceded by her mother, Betty; mother in-law, Bea Ann; father in-law, Robert; and nephew Ryan. Survivors include her father, Merlin, wife Darlene; siblings Gary, Deborah and Rebecca; husband, Mark; sons, Shawn, Joshua, and Travis; grandsons, Jaiden and Isaiah; eight nieces and nephews. A funeral Service will be held at 10:30 A.M., Saturday, October 23 at Church of the Holy Spirit at 6400 South University Boulevard. A second service will be at 10:30 A.M., November 6, at Peace Lutheran Church in Glidden, Iowa.
