Victor Sanchez Sr.

Victor G. Sanchez Sr. was born October 6, 1939 to Theodoro Sanchez and Eulogia Duran in Aguilar, CO. The second son of six siblings, he graduated from La Veta High School. Shortly after graduation he was drafted into the U.S. Army, where he proudly served. Victor met the love of his life, Olivia Manzanares in 1965 and they were married July 22, 1967. He is survived by loving wife Olivia Sanchez; sons Victor G. (Mandy) Sanchez Jr. of Lakewood, CO, Vincent J. Sanchez of Denver, CO; two grandsons Kevin Victor (Samantha) Sanchez, Alex Nayib (Alejandara) Sanchez of Brighton, CO; six great-grandchildren Jiovanni, Jakobi, Jaeli, Jhett, Nayib, Catalina. Preceded in death by his parents; sister Theresa Shockey; brother Henry Sanchez. Rosary Tuesday, January 25, 2022, 12:30 pm, Funeral Mass 1:00 pm, both at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 3801 W. Ohio Ave., Denver, CO 80219. Interment 2:30 pm, Fort Logan National Cemetery.
