Victoria Sue Adams

Victoria S. Adams passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 in Lakewood, Colorado. She was 53 years old. Vicki was born in Cheyenne, Wyoming on October 23. Vicki grew up in Omaha, Nebraska and graduated from South High School. She married Rod Adams on October 31, 1986 in Littleton, Colorado. Vicki graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Accounting. Vicki spent most of her career at the University of Colorado, most recently as the Fiscal Manager in the Division of Medical Oncology at the University of Colorado Denver – Anschutz Medical Campus. She loved to garden, spend time with family and friends, travel, cheer the Colorado Rockies, cross stitch, as well as finding the holidays the most special time of year. he had a laugh that could light up a room. Vicki was a loving mother, wife, friend, sister, and daughter. Survivors include her husband, Rod of Lakewood; two sons, Zach of Colorado Springs, & Daniel of Lakewood; her mother, Billee Rosenthal of Littleton; her brother, Rick Rosenthal and his fiancé Jamie Grady of Littleton, Colorado; her sister, Sandy Hicks and brother-in-law Scott Hicks of Boulder; her grandmother, Ida Bradt of Kimball, Nebraska; her uncle, Jerre Bradt of Seattle, Washington and her dog, Shadow. She was preceded in death by her father, Theodore Rosenthal; her grandparents, Amelia and Henry Rosenthal; and her, grandfather Gerald Bradt. There will be a Celebration of Life Reception on Saturday, September 25 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Horan and McConaty Family Chapel, 5303 East County Line Road, Centennial, Colorado 80122.
