Victoria Patricia Elley, 80 years old, died at her home with loved ones around her on December 23, 2021. After a heroic battle, she succumbed to Angiosarcoma. Victoria was born on September 6, 1941 in Gadsden, Alabama, and lived most of her life in New Jersey, she lived 10 years in Florida before moving to Colorado last February. She started her own nail business and opened three different salons. She later worked for and with Bob Elley at AllState Search Company and Scrubbie Pines Campground for approximately 20 years until retirement in 2010. Victoria was a Daughter of the American Revolution and an accomplished artist in painting canvas and porcelain.
She is survived and loved by her husband Robert Elley of Colorado; her sons Scott Behnke of New Jersey, and Craig (Beth) Behnke of Colorado; her step-children Patricia Snellings of Virginia, Junior (April) Elley of New Jersey, Sharon Chiovarou of Pennsylvania, Edward Elley of North Carolina, Diana (Dennis) Sampson of New Jersey, and Danielle (Rory) Gronczewski of New Jersey; her brother Larry Trevarthen of Arkansas; along with grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many friends. Victoria is preceded in death by her parents Scott and MaryLou Trevarthen and her siblings Dwight Trevarthen, James Trevarthen and Betty Trevarthen.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, January 10, 2022, at Horan & McConaty, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood, CO 80227 at 10:00am. She will be laid to rest at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
