Victoria Bernhardt Konterski was born on July 29, 1924, in Vienna, Austria. She married Serge Konterski and together they had six children: Edith, Alexander, George, Rosemary, Janet and James.
Victoria had a zest for life. As she traveled to foreign lands and experienced different cultures, she always met new people. Family, friends and loved ones from all around the world will miss her dearly.
After her beloved husband, Serge, passed in 1971, she became the guiding light for her children and grandchildren. She overcame many obstacles and challenges always keeping a positive attitude, evaluating alternatives and always demonstrating her strong will and loving heart.
The Catholic religion played an important role in Victoria's life, and her faith was an example for her family. She was intensely proud of her children. She especially adored her grandchildren with whom she had wonderful relationships: William (23 years old), Thomas (23 years old), Phillip (22 years old), Davie (21 years old), Serge (20 years old), Bryan (19 years old), Chelsea (16 years old), Heather (15 years old), and Michael (11 years old).
She will be missed and will always be in our hearts. A loving, wonderful mother,
Friend, and Servant of the Lord.
