Victoria R. Sorensen, 95, a resident of St. Andrew's Village in Aurora, CO passed away on March 13, 2017 after a short illness. A life well lived, Vicky celebrated her 95th birthday on February 11, 2017. She was born in Lancaster, WI. Vicky served as a Wave in the U.S. Navy during World War II as a Communication Specialist in Washington D.C. Vicky retired from Fitzsimmons Army Hospital in Denver in 1973. She accompanied her husband Thomas A. Sorensen on various military assignments, both within the states and abroad. They enjoyed traveling extensively with Ports of Call Travel Club. Vicky volunteered her time at the Molly Brown House, Military Lounge at Stapleton airport, and East Denver Assistance Center. She was also an Avid Garage Seller and an Antique collector. Vicky is preceded in death by Parents Frank and Mary (Udelhofen) Heinrichs, Siblings : Joe, Sister Felicia Heinrichs, and Katherine Kulig, Nephew: George W. Hansen of AZ, and Husband: Thomas A. Sorensen. Vicky is survived by Nieces: Mary Kulig and Patricia Sylla, both of Wisconsin, Nephew: Michael and Susie Kasala and their children Michael and Katya.
